The private dining area can seat up to 50 people on individual tables. Alternatively the room can cater for up to 70 for a canapé reception.

One of the features of this room is its flexibility of use for different events. It has been the venue for book launches, television press viewings, breakfast meetings, canapé receptions and private parties such as birthday celebrations, wedding and civil ceremony receptions and anniversaries.

MENUS

A set buffet menu or a la carte menu is available is available. It may also be possible to include other seasonal dishes or a favourite that you have enjoyed in our main restaurant. We are also happy to suggest various ideas for feasts.

We do insist that your party has one set menu, however you can re-arrange the dishes to create your ideal menu. We are happy to suggest alternative dishes for guests in your party with vegetarian, vegan or specific dietary requirements.

We are happy to suggest wines to complement your menu.

There is no room hire charge. The menus are priced per person.

A non-refundable deposit will be required with the balance of the account payable by one person on the day of the event. The Private Room does not have the facility to create several bills or operate a ‘cash bar’.

FACILITIES

• Menu cards can be printed and dedicated to your requirement.
• Place cards can be supplied for your own use.
• Flowers are provided for customers using The Private Room.
• Candles can be supplied to suit your table layout.
• A pianist, jazz trio, saxophonist, string quartet or other musical entertainment can be arranged. You may also organise your own musicians.
